■ Product Description
- High Molecular Weight Flame Retardant For Polyether; (CM) HR and Moulded Foams
- NILBURN V66 is a high molecular weight phosphate ester intended for the production of flameretardant polyether, high resilience and moulded foams. It is particularly suited to automotive and furniture applications where resistance to migration upon ageing is a requirement of the flammability standards used.

■ Typical Applications
NILBURN V66 is a suitable flame retardant for many types of flexible slabstock polyether and moulded foams. The product is typically recommended for the production of flame retardant foam required to resist ignition from low intensity flame sources such as those described in Federal Motor Vehicles Safety Standard No.302.
Examples of flammability standards which may be achieved with NILBURN V66 in polyether foam include:
UK |
- BS AU 169 |
- BS 4735 |
Germany |
- DIN 75200 |
USA |
- FMV SS302 |
